Clearcheck.app Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may or may not be issued for services purchased through the Clearcheck.app website.

Digital Service Notice

Clearcheck.app provides instant digital background search reports generated from publicly available records and third-party data providers.

Because this service is delivered electronically and generated in real time after a search is submitted, Clearcheck.app does not sell or ship physical products.

No Refunds After Report Generation

All Clearcheck.app purchases are final once a search has been submitted and a background report has been generated.

Each search triggers immediate processing and data access costs from third-party record providers. Once a report is generated and delivered electronically through the platform, the service has been fully performed.

For this reason, Clearcheck.app does not offer refunds, cancellations, or returns after a report has been generated. The sole exception to this policy is the Money Back Guarantee described below.

Money Back Guarantee

Clearcheck.app offers a limited Money Back Guarantee on criminal record searches. If a criminal record existed in a jurisdiction listed on our current coverage page at the time of your search, and that record was not returned in your report, Clearcheck.app will refund the purchase price for that specific search.

To request a refund under this guarantee, you must demonstrate that the record in question exists in a jurisdiction covered by Clearcheck.app at the time of purchase, as reflected on our published coverage page. Clearcheck.app will review the claim and, if verified, issue a full refund for that search.

This guarantee does not apply where:

The record is not located because the jurisdiction is not included in Clearcheck.app’s published coverage.
The record has been expunged by a judge or court order.
The record is a juvenile record, or an arrest that did not result in a court action.

Customers are responsible for reviewing Clearcheck.app’s coverage page before purchasing a search. This guarantee is offered at Clearcheck.app’s discretion for the limited purpose described above and does not otherwise modify the No-Refund Policy.

Situations That Do Not Qualify for Refunds

Outside of the Money Back Guarantee above, refunds will not be issued for the following reasons:

No records were found in the report.
The report contains limited information.
The customer expected different or additional records.
The customer did not review the product description or sample report before purchase.
The customer changed their mind after the search was submitted.
The report results did not meet a personal expectation or use case.

The availability of information depends on public records and third-party data sources, which vary by jurisdiction and record availability.

Customer Responsibility

Before purchasing a search, customers are encouraged to review the product description, FAQ, and any available sample reports provided on the Clearcheck.app website.

By submitting a search request, the customer acknowledges that they understand the nature of the digital service and agree that the service will be considered fulfilled once the report is generated and delivered electronically.

Billing Errors

If you believe you were charged incorrectly due to a duplicate transaction or technical billing error, please contact us within a reasonable time after the transaction.

Clearcheck.app will review verified billing errors and may issue a correction or refund at its sole discretion where appropriate.

Payment Disputes

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated, Clearcheck.app may provide evidence to the payment processor or issuing bank demonstrating that the service was delivered.
